We went to Clingman's Dome for a sunrise shoot but...alas...dense fog. There were still some nice shots of fog shrouded trees.
When the mountain range and sunset ahead of you is cloud covered then...look up...the sun coming over the clouds gave some nice character to clouds overhead.

This is the John Oliver cabin in Cades Cove. It is the first structure on the Cades Cove Loop Road and is about a 200 yd walk from the road.
